Who We Are
Who are we? Sometimes, I wonder myself. I guess I could just say that my name is Wanda and my husband's name is Scott. But, more than that we are kindred spirits with a lifetime of experiences that are not shared with just a name.
Just like you, we have boxes and boxes of old pictures, letters, cards, poems, photo albums and even records that we keep tucked safely away in the top of the closet, under the bed or in the attic. We keep adding to the collection and every once in awhile, we drag them out and spread them across the floor and laugh and cry and remember...who we are.
Our Mission
Like so many people today, we live so far away from those we care about, both family and friends. They are constantly on our minds and keeping in touch is something we always intend to do, but somehow just don't seem to find the time. When we came up with the idea for Living Tapestry, it was originally going to be a site for some of our family that had passed away..."In Memory Of". But, when we started to put it together, we realized how much we wished we had kept in closer touch with those people. So, now the site has evolved into a place where we can not only remember those who are gone, but celebrate their lives and the lives of those of us who remain behind.
Living Tapestry is now a place where people can celebrate significant events in their lives even with those who cannot be there with them. Our mission is to provide the means for others, who feel as we do, to share their life experiences with those they care so much about.
